Very interesting site.  My sister and I are looking for information on our ancestor: Daniel WILCOX who was born January 9, 1795 somewhere in Vermont.  He married Olive EDDY, (daughter of Benjamin Eddy and Olive CARPENTER) sometime in the early 1820's.  According to the Eddy Family Association, they were married in Otsego County, New York. They migrated to Columbus Township, Warren County, PA.  Daniel died on September 30, 1850 and is buried in the David Curtis Cemetery in Warren, Pa.  Daniel and Olive Eddy Wilcox had at least 6 known children, and we have names of four more unconfirmed at this time as their children.  We are looking for siblings of Daniel and his parents.

We do know that there was a James Wilcox on the 1830 census of Warren County, but can not confirm that this may have been either a brother or his father.  Also there is a Jospeh Wilcox born circa 1795 in Pittstown, NY and he is buried in the Sanderson Corners's Cemetery in Fairfax, Vt.

I was feeling a little home sick so I looked up my home town and found this site.  It is very well done, and it cheered me up.  I am deploying to kuwait May 1st 2002.  I am to take part in Operation Desert Spring, but hopefully will be back home soon.  Hello to all the people of Westminster.  Hooah.

I am looking for information on Nelson WILCOX who served in the war of 1812. He had a daughter, Mary, who married Aaron Gorham. Any help would be appreciated.

Nice site.

My grandfather was William V. GORHAM. His father was Nelson Wilcox Gorham (named after his mother's father). Nelson Gorham was born 9/3/1855 in Montpelier, Vermont. He was married to Anna HOLM on 4/2/1883. He died 5/4/1918 in Antigo, WI and is buried in the Antigo Cemetery. His father was Aaron Gorham, who married Mary WILCOX. I have no further information on Aaron or Mary.

Much of this information was obtained from my grandmother Ivy (Iva) Now, Gorham, Besaw (now deceased). The rest of the information was obtained from a research done by a lady doing research on the Holm siblings. I had the chance to look at the book and copy some of the information. In this book she gave some of the back ground of each siblings spouse.

I was at your web site again-reading all the information about the area, etc. You really do a wonderful job.
