BIG FOUR SCHOOL
The boundaries of the Big Four School were set by the school board in 1884. The school was built in 1903. It later was closed and divided and portioned to Marshfield and Granton school districts. It was closed in the spring of 1958. It is sometimes referred to as "the Dankmeyer School" in the Town of Fremont. Pearl Beeckler is the teacher and Will Eibergen is standing next to her.
After the school closed the Alvin Kissinger's bought it, remodeled it, and now reside there.
