I have a little leather bound booklet labeled Commencement 1914. The first page says:
THE MEMBERS of the GRADUATING CLASS request the honor of your presence at the eighteenth Annual COMMENCEMENT EXERCISE of the GREENWOOD HIGH SCHOOL on FRIDAY EVENING JUNE FIFTH nineteen hundred and fourteen at the WOODMAN HALL Greenwood, Wis. The second page says: CLASS COLOR Light Blue and Gold CLASS FLOWER For-Get-Me-Not MOTTO Finished, yet Begining CLASS ROLL Chadwick, Ruth Coates, Clara Cronin, Margaret Elstrom, Clara Finkle, Henry Gries, Katherine Heggesta, Laurence Hunt, Hale Kleinschmidt, Alma Le Gault, Mae McCormick, George Miller, Ruth Palmer, Lula Zaffke, Myrtle
The third page says: ANNOUNCEMENTS
JUNIOR-SENIOR RECEPTION Thursday, May twenty-eighth at Stafford Ressidence
BACCALAUREATE SERMON Sunday Evening, May Thirty-First at Methodist Church
CLASS PLAY Tuesday Evening, June Second at Woodman Hall (I have a copy of the class play with who played what parts)
COMMENCEMENT EXERCISE Friday Evening, June Fifth at Woodman Hall
This was my Great Uncle's commencement (he was Henry Finkle) in the back of the booklet is a card with Handwritten Henry Finkle and Hand-drawn flowers to the left and above his name.
