Gerhardt, Christina (12 NOV 1861 - 7 OCT 1901)

Mrs. William Gerhardt died at her home in the town of Grant, Clark County, Monday evening, Oct. 7, 1901, after an illness of about a year. Mrs. Gerhardt, whose maiden name was Christina Dettman, was born in Washington County, Nov. 12, 1861, and has resided in this county for nearly nineteen years. She leaves her husband and three sons to mourn her death, besides her father, three brothers and one sister, Mrs. J. E. Counsell, who lives in the town of Grant. The father and two brothers live in Sheboygan County, and one brother in Milwaukee. Mrs. Gerhardt was a consistent Christian, being a member of the Evangelical Association, and lived in such a way as to win the love and respect of all who knew her. The funeral will be held this (Thursday) afternoon at the home, Rev. A.V. Ingham of this city and Rev. Nasse of Marshfield officiating.
