Boardman, Mrs. S. C. (? - 26 Dec 1902)

News came by letters last week from Miss Frances Boardman stating that her mother died Dec. 26, 1902 at Los Angeles, Cal., where they had been living for some time. Mrs. Boardman, who was the wife of the late Samuel C. Boardman, was well known here, being one of the oldest settlers of Clark County, and residing here till about two years ago. She was a woman of gentleness and refinement, and loved by all. For several years her health had been poor and she was a constant, but patient sufferer. Particulars of her death were not received, but it was probably the result of her old disease, rheumatism. Besides her daughter, her sisters Mrs. Archer and Mrs. Arnold were with her in the west. To all of them goes out the sympathy of the people here.
