Thompson, Eliza Jane (3 JUN 1852 - 9 Feb 1904)

Eliza Jane Thompson (nee Pratt), wife of Walter Thompson, died at her home in Centralia, Wash., on Feb. 9th, 1904, at 8 a.m., of dreaded disease consumption. Mrs. Thompson was born in Wisconsin on June 3, 1852, and was married to Walter Thompson at Cedar, Wis. on Oct. 11, 1882. Mr. and Mrs. Thompson were old residents of Clark County for many years, Mr. Thompson being an old time lumberman in this section of the county. Mrs. Thompson went to Centralia Wash. last June seeking to benefit her health, her husband followed her in Nov. Mrs. Thompson was a very patient sufferer and greeted each one with a smile. She leaves to mourn her loss a husband and two adopted children, besides many warm friends, she will be greatly missed in and around the home, but what is our loss is her eternal gain. The funeral services were held Thursday from the Free Methodist Church at Centralia Wash., Rev. Eva officiating, interment in the Neillsville cemetery.
