Counsell, Minnie (4 Augl 1868 - 21 Feb 1904)

Minnie, the wife of O.E. Counsell, died at her home near Chili, Clark County, Sunday afternoon Feb. 21, 1904. Deceased was the daughter of Wm. Heaslett of this city and was born Aug. 4, 1868. Her mother died when Minnie was quite young and she went to live in the family of C.A. Youmans in 1881, and resided with them until her marriage to O.E. Counsell in Oct. 1892. As a girl growing up in Neillsville and as a woman she was loved and respected by all who knew her and her death is deeply mourned by all. Besides her husband, she leaves a little son three years old. Her babe, a few days old, died about twenty-four hours before the mother and was buried with her, the funeral taking place Wednesday forenoon at the home. Burial was in the Neillsville Cemetery.
