Benjamin Pearson died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Eric Nelson, in Washburn, Clark County, Dec. 3, 1904, aged 71 years. He was born in Sweden and came to this country 27 years ago, settling in Clinton, Iowa.. Seven years ago he came to Clark County. Besides the daughter, he leaves a son Peter residing in Ill. Two daughters, Mrs. Patrick Kelley and Mrs. C.B. Dresden are deceased.
Mr. Pearson was a man highly respected by all. The funeral was held at Shortville Church Tuesday, burial taking place in the Neillsville Cemetery, Rev. J.K. Griffis officiating.
