Kathleen J. Faude, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Faude of Route 2, Owen,
graduated from the University of Califorinia-Los Angeles with a master's degree
in community mental health nursing June 19. She graduated from Owen High School
in 1969 and the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh in 1974. She had been a
psychiatric nurse in Wisconsin, Minnesota and California. She is a member of
Sigma Theta Tau, the national honor society for nurses, and is a member of the
California Nurses Association where she is chairman of the psychiatric community
mental health special interest group for Region 6. In addition to working in
geropsychiatry at UCLA Neuropsychiatric Institute, She plans to start a private
practice including individual, group, marital and family psychotherapy.
