Miss Anna Albert and Mr. D.D. Stannard were quietly married this afternoon at St. Peter and Paul's Catholic Church. The service was witnessed only by a small gathering of friends. Mr. and Mrs. Stannard took the afternoon train for a wedding trip to Milwaukee and other cities and upon their return will begin housekeeping either in this city or Minneapolis.

The bride is one of the socially prominent young ladies of the city and is esteemed by a large circle of friends. Mr. Stannard is a fireman on the Omaha road and has made Mankato his headquarters during the past four years. He is a young man of excellent reputation and his friends extend both to him and his bride their hearty best wishes. (The Mankato Daily Review, Tuesday, May 29, 1906)
