Barton, Victoria (Marriage - 9 APR 1907)

Mr. Richard Welsh and Miss Victoria Barton were united in marriage Tuesday forenoon, April 9, 1907, at the Catholic Church, Rev. Jos. L. Hauck officiating. The bride was attended by Miss Agnes Tracy and the groom by Mr. Albert Barton, the bride?s brother. After the ceremony the bridal party went to the residence of the groom?s parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Welsh, where a wedding breakfast was served. Later in the day they gathered with other relatives and friends at the bride?s home in the town of Weston, Clark County, for dinner.

The young couple begins housekeeping at once on Court St., the home being all nicely furnished and ready for occupancy. The groom is the popular mail carrier on Route 2, Neillsville. He is a young man of energy, good education and force of character. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Barton, a young lady possessed of winning manners, goo dense and rare womanly qualities of mind. The homemaking of the bride and groom begins under most favorable circumstances; that it may continue in happiness and prosperity is the wish of their many friends.
