Wilding, Hannah (20 Jan 1818 - 10 Sep 1906)

Mrs. Hannah Wilding passed quietly away on Sept. 10th, 1906 at the good old age of 88 years. Our deceased sister was born in Vermont, Jan. 20th, 1818, where she married her first husband, Mr. Chas. Squires. In 1855, they came to Waukesha Co., Wis., where the years later, Mr. Squires died. In 1857 Mrs. Squires was married again, this time to Mr. Geo. Wilding of Pleasant Ridge, Clark County, where they spent many happy years together.

Mr. Wilding preceded his wife to his eternal rest in 1893, and Etta, her daughter, in 1896. She leaves to mourn her loss three daughters and one son, Mrs. Emma Myers of Chicago, Mrs. Louisa Baker of Pleasant Ridge, Mrs. Ella Stout of Milton Jct., and Mr. Hiram Squires of Brooklyn, N.Y.

The many years of this long life were well lived out. She died as she had always lived, a character above reproach. She ever recognized the presence of her God, and never more than in death when she said in a parting breath "God is here." What earth lost heaven gained.
