Mrs. Helen Marshall died at the home of her son E.W. Marshall in Plainfield, Wis., Dec. 27, 1906. The remains were brought to Neillsville, Clark County Saturday and the funeral was held Sunday afternoon at the home of Daniel Kennedy, Rev. A.R. Rice officiating.

Mrs. Marshall, whose maiden name was Helen Brown, was born at Grafton, Vt., Sept. 27, 1838. She was married to J.H. She spent some fifteen years of her life after her husband's death with her parents at Augusta, and since their death she has made her home with her children. She was a woman of refinement and those ladylike qualities that readily won the respect of all who met her.
