Bullis, Allie L. (Marriage - 13 Jan 1909)

On Wednesday Jan. 13, 1909, Mr. Milton Wallace Alexander and Miss Allie Lenora Bullis were united in marriage at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. R.V. Bullis in Eau Claire, Rev. Babcock officiating. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Thos. Alexander of this city (Neillsville, Clark County). Besides spending several years here at home with his parents he has in recent years made occasional visits and has a large circle of friends here. For some time past he has been in the employ of the Northwestern Railroad in the office at the stock yards in Chicago, a position of responsibility, which he has won by his aptitude for business and his strict attention to his duties. The bride is a most bright and charming young woman, her lady like appearance and quick intelligence making her appreciative friends wherever she goes.

The wedding was entirely a home affair, only relatives and close friends of the families being in attendance. The groom’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alexander, his sisters Jennie and Katharine Alexander, Mr. and Mrs. W.L. Hemphill and daughter Frances were among the guests.

This young couple begins married life with bright and hopeful prospects, and with the sincere good wishes of a multitude of friends.
