Powel, Mary W. (Marriage - 21 Mar 1914)

Cards are received announcing the marriage of Mr. Norman S. Davis and Miss Mary Wilson Powel at the home of the bride’s uncle and aunt Dr. and Mrs. Benjamin R. Powel, Baltimore, Md., March 21, 1914. The groom will be well remembered by many of our younger people here (Neillsville, Clark County). He was for more than a year a member of the writer’s family and foreman at Maple Glen farm. While here he took an active part in social affairs among the young people and had many friends. He is an active young man, well educated and having a technical as well as a practical knowledge of farming and possessed of a high moral character.

We join with his other friends here in wishing him and his bride a happy and successful life.

They will be at home after May 15 at Ridgemont Farm, Penn’s Park, Pa.
