Buckley , Maggie (23 Mar 1882 - Dec 1920)

A Sumas, Wash. paper published notice of the death of Mrs. Dennis Buckley of Everson, Wash., as follows: "On Sunday evening at the Sumas Hospital in Sumas, Mrs. Maggie Buckley was called to the great beyond, after an illness covering several weeks. Mrs. Buckley was a woman of sterling qualities, always ready and willing to give help in the time of need. She leaves to mourn her loss a husband and ten children, nine boys and one girl, ranging from four months to twenty years, all at the family home in the Northwood district. Also father, mother, three brothers, two sisters at the old home in Fairchild, Eau Claire Co., Wis., and one sister, Mrs. Will Tennant of Northwood, besides a host of loving friends and neighbors. Mrs. Buckley was born in Fairchild, Wis., March 23, 1882, at which place she was married to Dennis Buckley in the year of 1898. Funeral services were held at the Northwood Grange Hall Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock, of which order she was a member, Rev. Dauaar of the Baptist Church of Lynden officiating. Many beautiful floral pieces attested to the loved she was borne. The Northwood school was closed during the services. A large concourse of friends followed the remains to their last resting place in the Lakeside Cemetery (Oregon).
