Jensen, Mollie (20 Feb 1887 – 30 Dec 1972)

Funeral services were held Tuesday from the Christian Assembly of god Church, Abbotsford, for Mrs. Mollie Jensen, 85, Abbotsford, who died December 30, 1972 at the Havenet Nursing Home, Owen.

The Rev. David Guenther, Marshfield, officiated, with burial in the Dorchester Memorial Cemetery (South). Pallbearers were Eugene and The Rev. Kenneth Gauerke, Sam Zier, Allen Jensen, John Venzke and Mike Mantik.

Mrs. Jensen, the former Mollie Springer, was born February 20, 1887 in the Town of Holton. On May 1, 1905, she married Nels Jensen in Phillips. She received her education in the town of Holton and farmed with her husband for many years in the town of Mayville.

Survivors include three children, Elmer of Abbotsford, Dr. Elroy Jensen, Gilbert, Iowa, and Mrs. Melvin (Eleanora) Gauerke, Route 1, Abbotsford. 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren also survive.
