Lucky, Ruth Campbell (Marriage - 6 June 1922)

Peonies, daisies and palms made the wedding today at 3 p.m. of Miss Ruth Campbell Luckey, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. B. Luckey was married to Ernest A. Longenecker, 630 North Langdon street, son of Rev. and Mrs. G. W. Longenecker, Neillsville, Wis.

The bride wore a gown of white canton crepe with bead trimming. Her veil was caught with orange blossoms and she carried a bouquet of white roses. Maid of honor was Miss Dorothea Levi, who was gowned in pink organdie with hat to match. Miss Helen Jean Luckey, flower girl, wore white organdy and carried a basket of pink roses. G. William Longenecker, brother of the groom, was best man.

The Rev. G. W. Longenecker, father of the groom, preformed the ceremony, assisted by Rev. E. S. Worcester. After the wedding dainty refreshments were served to about 50 guests. Mr. and Mrs. Longenecker left for a short trip. After October 1 they will be at home at Madison. The groom will have a position as instructor in the State University the coming year.

Out of town guests at the wedding were Gladys Longenecker, sister of the groom, Watertown, Mrs. C. H. Luckey, Fargo, N.D., Mrs. H. H. Bennett, Kilbourne, Mr. and Mrs. Scott Crosswaite, Alleman, Ia.

Prof. F. H. Horstmeyer of Chicago sang a vocal solo. Mrs. Helen Burch Miller, and Miss Coates of the Wisconsin School of Music, played the wedding march. -Madison State Journal.
