Misses Cora Welch, Theresa Zenz and Allie Darton spent Saturday and Sunday at Greenwood with friends.

Joe Schweiger returned from Madison Saturday where he has been visiting with relatives.

James McGonigal went to Milwaukee the first of the week to attend the Hardware Dealers Convention.

The thermometer is said to have reached 30 degrees below the fatal mark, Tuesday morning at 7 o’clock..

Albert Lenling of Groton, S. D. arrived in this city Tuesday evening and will spend some time visiting relatives.

Erwin Arquette who was hurt in the woods last fall by falling off a log and spraining his hip is able to be around without the use of a cane.

Harry Neipert went to Jefferson this morning to spend a couple of months visiting relatives.

The B. M. S. Club met with Miss Kathrine Gwin, Friday, Feb. 2. After plying the needle industriously for several hours, a dainty lunch was served. The next meeting of the Club will be at the home of Mrs. Richardson, Friday, evening, Feb. 9.
