Lazotte, Nellie (Marriage - 8 Aug. 1922)

Mr. Joseph Hartun and Miss Nellie Lazotte were united in marriage Tuesday forenoon, August 8, at St. Mary’s Catholic church in Neillsville, Rev. P. Weber officiating. They were attended by Mr. Albert Hartung, a brother of the groom and Miss Grace Lazotte, a sister of the bride.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Hartung of South Pine Valley. He was brought up on the home farm, saw overseas service in the army and since his return has worked at farming and the carpenter’s trade. He is a young man of model character, enterprising and industrious and stands high in the estimation of all who know him. The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Anthony Lazotte of the town of Grant. She graduated from Neillsville high school and for some time has been successfully teacher. She is a young lady of refinement and intelligence and possesses the practical qualities that fit her for the duties of the home.

They will begin housekeeping at once at the groom’s farm known as the Berger farm south of this city. The entire community will join in good wishes for the happiness and success of this new home.
