Lindau, Karyn Christine (21 February 1981)

Calvary Lutheran Church in Neillsville was the Saturday evening, February 21, site for the wedding of Karyn Christine Lindau and Thomas Lee Schuh. The Rev. Paul Forde officiated with the parents of the bride presenting her to the altar. Parents of the couple are Melvin and Donna Lindau, Rt. 5 Neillsville, and Anthony and Geraldine Schuh, 700 South Division St., Colby.

Serving as maid of honor was Ronda Lindau, a sister of the bride from Neillsville. She was joined in the bride’s party by two friends, Tamara Glassbrenner of Neillsville and Julie Feddick of Abbotsford.

Brad Podevels was bestman. He was joined by Jim Wilner and Dale Gottschalk. All are friends of the groom from Colby. Ushering were Dick Schuh, the groom’s nephew, and friends Dan Schmitt and Jon Podevels; all also were from Colby. Supplying music for the service was Mrs. Dan Herbrand.

The bride chose a gown of ivory, satin crepe and caried a bouquet of white mums and red roses. Her attendants wore gowns of light blue with navy blue velvet jackets and carried bouquets of red sweetheart roses on white muffs. The groom chose a light blue tuxedo with light blue shirt; his attendants wore dark blue tuxedos with light blue shirts.

Following the service, a reception and dance was held at the Neillsville American Legion Hall. Prenuptial events included a January 26, Neillsville shower hosted by Tammy Glassbrenner and Lori Lawrence.

The new Mr. and Mrs. Schuh announced that they would take a wedding trip at a later time. The bride is to be a May 1981 graduate of Neillsville High School. The groom is a 1980 graduate of Colby High School and is employed as a bartender at the Old Cedar House in Abbotsford.
