Guetschow, Florence (9 Jan 1890 - 15 May 1927)

Mrs. Wm. Guetschow died at the home of her sister, Mrs. Leo Chapel, near Granton, Clark County, Wis., Sunday morning, May 15, 1927, after a short illness.

Florence Converse Guetschow was born Jan. 9, 1890, and grew to womanhood in the locality where she died. She was married to Wm. Guetschow Dec. 4, 1923, her husband and one daughter, Wilma, aged two and one-half years, surviving her. She leaves also two sisters, Mrs. Grace Coyle and Mrs. Leo Chapel, besides a host of loving friends and more distant relatives. She was a favorite of old and young alike, tender-hearted and unselfish, thinking always of others before herself, and never failing to care for and comfort those depending upon her.

The funeral was held Tuesday at the Adventist Church of Granton, burial taking place in Windfall Cemetery, where her parents and two brothers, who preceded her in death, are buried.
