Brown, Bernard (1841 - 20 MAY 1927)

Bernard Brown, one of the old settlers of Clark County, Wis., died May 20, 1927, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Isaac Sisco, near Owen, Clark County, aged nearly 86. He was born in Vermont in 1841, and came to Black River Falls when 15 years of age. He served in the Civil War, and in 1870 came to Clark County, settling on a homestead in the town of Reseberg. In 1901 he moved into the village. He was a man highly respected by all who knew him.
