ALBERT MEIER

Friday afternoon at 3 p. m., funeral services will be held from the Georgas funeral home for Albert Meier, 71, of Rt. 1, Columbus, Columbia Co., Wisconsin, who died Monday at St Mary's hospital in Columbus, who died Monday at St. Mary's hospital in Columbus, where he was taken after suffering a massive stroke while riding a tractor.

The Rev. Jacob Grether will officiate the ceremony and the interment will be made in the town of Levis Cemetery, Clark Co., WI.

Mr. Meier was born March 6, 1895, in the town of Levis. He was educated in that area and spent many years in this community.

On April 3, 1915, he was married to the former Leota M. Temby (b. May 3, 1896, who died Dec. 13, 1953. In 1951 the family moved to the Wisconsin Rapids area and for the last seven years he made his home with his daughter near Columbus, WI.

He is survived by three children, Mrs. Kurt (Irene) Schoenherr of Columbus, Mrs. Roy (Delores) Sitzman of Neillsville and Melvin Meier of Toston, MT; a sister, Mrs. Caroline Seidelman of Neillsville; 10 grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren.
