Dobes, Frank (11 JUN 1856 - 6 SEP 1927)

Frank Dobes, who has been in poor health for over two years and confined to his bed most of the time for more than a year, passed away at his home in this city, Sept. 6, 1927, aged 71 years, 2 months and 25 days. In 1907 they sold this farm and bought a farm in the town of Levis, Clark County, living there until 1918, when they moved to Neillsville, making their home here ever since. He is survived by his wife and five children: Anna, Mrs. Anton Koran of Black River Falls; Christina, Mrs. A. Meier of Levis; Tillie, Mrs. Carl Zschernitz of Neillsville; Frank Dobes on the home farm in Levis; Julia, Mrs. F. Wendel of Indiana. Mary died in infancy.
