Word has been received of the death of Dr. Elmer Johnson of Salisbury, North Carolina, a former Colby High School instructor and a brother of Mrs. Celia Wiedenhoeft of Colby. He died Sunday at his home of a heart attack.

Dr. Johnson had been division head of the Psychology Department of Livingstone College the past eight years and at the time of his death had just begun his new duties as director of the Teacher Education Program.

Other survivors include a son, Bruce of Salisbury; one other sister, Mrs. Andrews (Sadie) Woitel of Kelly Lake, Minnesota; and a brother, Harvey Johnson of Grand Rapids, Minnesota.

Memorial services were held today in the chapel of Livingstone College, and burial will be in Togo, Minnesota, at a later date.
