Charles H. 'Chuck' Miller

Charles IH. "Chuck" Miller, 38, of Alma Center, died on Thursday, April 15 at Black River Memorial Hospital, Black River Falls.

He was born on July 1, 1965, in Neillsville, to parents Harley and Helen (Anderson) Miller. He married Rhonda Stargardt on Sept. 17, 1988, in Neillsville. He was employed as a block mason at Johnson Construction in Black River Falls. Prior to that, he worked at the Alma Center Meat and Locker Company. He lived in the Hixton-Alma Center area for the past eight years.

He enjoyed spending time with his family as well as fishing, watching all-star wrestling and listening to classic rock. He was an avid Packers fan. He also liked to play darts and was on a darts team at the Full Moon Bar in Alma Center.

He is survived by his wife, Rhonda; three daughters Jayme, Nikki and Samantha, all at home; his parents, Harley and Helen Miller, of Neillsville; adopted brother Ricky Bucksteiner, of Mashpee, Mass.; sisters Kathy Lee of Jacksonville, Florida; Karen Bleaker, of West Virginia; Koreen Williams, of Neillsville; Kay Gruber, of Neillsville; Karla Hainz, of Millador; and Kim (Dave) Nordahl, of Alma Center; besides many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Kenny.

A memorial service for Charles was held April 17 at the Jensen-Modjeski Funeral Home, Hixton, with Reverend Elden Simonson officiating. Burial of ashes will take place in the Neillsville City Cemetery at a later date.
