Schoen, Joseph Walter (5 August 1982 – 18 April 2022)

Joseph Walter Schoen, 39, passed away on April 18, 2022, at his home in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.

Born on Thursday, August 5, 1982, in Neillsville, the son of Karl Schoen and Martha Viduski. He graduated from Neillsville High School.

He enjoyed spending time with friends and family. He will be remembered for his amazing humor, never ending kindness, his readiness to help others, and his extreme attention to detail.

He is survived by his daughter Haylo Schoen (Lance Downs), granddaughter Echaelia Schoen-Downs, father Karl Schoen (Xiuping Schoen), mother Martha Viduski, grandmother Helen Schoen, sister Dianna Ruiz (Scott Snow), brother Chad Schoen (Beryl Peterson), and his best friend Steve Moser.

He was predeceased by grandfathers Walter Schoen, and Joseph Mann, best friends Gary Elmhorst, Joey Krahn, and Josh O’Brien.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at Stokes, Prock & Mundt Funeral Chapel, 535 S. Hillcrest Parkway, Altoona from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
