Paul A Krueger, 77, Spencer, died Thursday, Sept. 18, 2003, at the Colonial Center, Colby.

Paul A. Krueger was born in Milwaukee and was raised by his father, Paul J. Krueger, and his stepmother, Agnes Persinke. He served in the Merchant Marines and was discharged in 1944. He worked for the Nash Corporation in Milwaukee from 1944 to 1948. He married Ruth S. Haas on Sept. 4, 1948. They moved to the Spencer area in 1949, where he farmed, worked at Rollo-Homes and retired from truck driving from F. F. Mengel Company.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth, Spencer; one daughter, Karen [Ted] Freezy, Spencer; two stepchildren, Barbara Chaffin, Marshfield, and Douglas Kuehn, Milladore; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Janet Bremer, and Evelyn Simmons; and one brother, Harvey Krueger, Milwaukee.

Community Funeral Home, Spencer, assisted the family with arrangements.
