Herman, Clara (16 JUN 1926)

The marriage of Miss Clara Herman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Herman, to Mr. Harvey G. Ebben, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Ebben, took place on Wednesday morning, June 16, 1926. The ceremony was performed at St. Hedwig's Church at ten o'clock by the Rev. F. A. Kulig.

The bride was attired in a white beaded georgette crepe dress, wore a long train, together with a tulle veil caught up with a band of white rhinestones and sweet peas, and carried a large bouquet of white shower roses and sweet pears. The flower girl and boy were Anna Zaborowski and Marion Herman. They carried large bouquets of white snowballs. Leo Ebben, brother of the groom, acted as best man, and Helen Herman, sister of the bride, was the bridesmaid, the other attendants being Frances Ebben and George Herman. The bridesmaids wore pink crepe de chine dresses, and bands of fish shells across their foreheads, and carried large bouquets of pink roses. The best man and attendant wore the same as the groom, blue serge suits.

After the wedding ceremony breakfast and dinner were served to about fifty guests, who all joined in wishing them much happiness and good luck during their married life. The young couple will make their home at Thorp, Clark County, Wis., where the groom will continue working at the Thorp Hardware Co.
