Zabarowski, John F. (14 JUL 1879 - 6 DEC 1929)

Mr. John F. Zabarowski, aged fifty years, four months and twenty-three days, died of heart trouble on Friday last. Deceased had not been feeling well recently and decided to go to the hospital and called John S. Bogumill who, with the patient in his ambulance, started for Chippewa Falls about ten o'clock Friday evening. Reaching a point about three miles east of Chippewa Falls, Mr. Zabarowski request Mr. Bogumill to stop the car and death followed almost immediately. Mr. Bogumill then continued on his trip to the hospital and after reporting the unfortunate man's sudden death, returned to Thorp, Clark County, Wis. with the body.

Deceased was born in Austria and came to Thorp in 1891 with his parents. He is survived by his wife (formerly Agnes Cieciora), three daughters, Mrs. Joe Perovdich and Mamie Zabarowski, of Chicago, and one son, Edward Zabarowski of Thorp; also his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Zabarowski of Thorp; and seven brothers, Joe of Rome, N.Y., Anton of Minneapolis, Mike and Frank of Thorp, George of Eau Claire, Louis and Charles of Gilman and one sister, Victoria, at home.

The funeral services were held at St. Hedwig's Church on Tuesday morning, Rev. F. Kulig officiating, with interment in the Parish Cemetery.
