Dittner, William (21 Jan 1854 - 18 Jan 1925)

Wm. Dittner died at his home north of Loyal, Clark County, Wis. Sunday, Jan. 18, 1925, after a brief illness.

Wm. Dittner was born in the Province of Pomerania, Germany Jan. 21, 1854. On March 12, 1883 he was married to Augusta Wegner. Soon after they immigrated to this county, settling in Rockford, Ill. Later they came to Jefferson, Wis., where they lived for seven years. They then settled on their farm near Loyal, where they have lived for the past thirty-two years, enduring many hardships during this time.

While his health was not good during the last few months of his life, he did not complain, but was always cheerful.

Mr. Dittner was a member of the Lutheran Church from which the funeral was held Friday Jan. 23rd. Burial took place in the Union Cemetery.

He leaves to mourn his loss, his wife and ten children, Rudolf, Herman, William Henry, Fred August and Ernest; Emilie Lennert, August Acker and Elizabeth Dittner.

The sorrowing relatives have the sympathy of their many friends and neighbors in their bereavement.
