Davis, Ursula Elva (Marriage - 11 Nov. 1930)

The marriage of Miss Ursula Elva Davis, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William J. Davis, Granton, to Joseph W. Summers of Milwaukee, took place Nov. 11, 1930, at 7 p.m. at the Presbyterian Manse of the church of which she is a member, Rev. Burton performing the ring ceremony.

The bride was gowned in gold and black georgette with hat to match and the bridesmaid, Miss Janet Curtiss was dressed in silver and black each carried arm bouquets of pink and white carnations.

The groom wore a suit of navy blue, as did also the best man, Mr. Morrice Maelly.

After the ceremony a dinner was served as her aunt’s home, the decorations being in pink and white. A dozen quests were present including her mother and sisters.

The bride is well ad very favorably known, being graduated from Granton high School. She also attended Miss Brown’s School of business and has since held the one position. The groom, a Canadian by birth, is a mechanic, and is well spoken of by those who know him.
