Farber, Peter (20 Nov. 1854 - 23 Dec. 1930)

Peter Farber, an old resident of the town of Lynn, died of apoplexy at his home Dec. 23, age 76 years. He was born in Washington county, Nov. 20, 1854, and was married there Dec. 2, 1880 to Caroline Marting. Four children were born to them. Peter, Emma, Louis and Anna. In 1883 they came to Clark County and later this wife died. May 11, 1892 he was married to Miss Rose Sanger, who survives him. The living children of this family are Mrs. Joseph Donnerbanber of Marshfield; Mrs. Fred Donnerbauer, Antigo; Mrs. Oscar Krause, Granton; Miss Geneva Farber at home. Two daughters, Mrs. Arthur Opelt and Mrs. Carl Holtmar preceded their father in death a few years ago. Deceased also leaves three brothers and three sisters.

The funeral was held Friday afternoon in the Union Church at Granton, Rev. Wendell Bennett of Lindsey officiating.
