Mrs. Ole C. Hansen died at her home on South Grand Avenue Thursday, Feb. 12, after a few days’ illness.

Nettie Haukum, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Nels Haukum, was born at Blair, Wis., Dec. 24, 1871. When she was about 17 years of age she came to Neillsville and in 1891 was married to Ole C. Hansen and soon after they began housekeeping in their home on Grand Avenue, where they continued to live the remainder of their lives.

Mr. Hansen died June 7, 1927. She leaves to mourn her death three daughters, and two sons: Tillie, Mrs. Arthur Viedekind, of Neillsville; Henry Hansen, Perth, North Dakota; Floy Hansen, Neillsville; Myrtle, Mrs. John Mattson, Neillsville; Erna, Mrs. Ja??o Korman, Minneapolis. She leaves also two brothers and four sisters: Henry Haukum, in Nebraska; Chas. Haukum of Blair; Mrs. J. Leasum of Strugeon Bay; Mrs. Oscar Neyen of Blair; Mrs. Albert Solberg, Blair; Mrs. Sever Johnson, Loyal; also 7 grandchildren.

Mrs. Hansen was a kind and considerate wife and mother, ever thoughtful of the needs of her home and family, but extending her help and sympathy to others, especially children outside her own family circle and was looked upon almost as a mother by some of these. Several years ago she had a stroke of paralysis and was partially an invalid since then, but was patient and cheerful to all about her and she will be greatly missed.

The funeral was held Sunday afternoon at the Congregational church, Rev. G. W. Longenecker officiating.

Hagen, Kenosha, Wis., Mrs. Sever Johnson and Mrs. Frank Zugie, Loyal; Mrs. John Luchterhand, Greenwood; Dr. and Mrs. S. J. Leasum and Herman Leasum, Sturgeon Bay; Dr. and Rms. Nels Leasum and daughter, Mary, Osseo. Dr. and Mrs. Chas. Leausm, Sturgeon Bay; Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Korman and daughter Jean, Minneapolis; Mr. Alan Lowery, Eau Claire; Mr. Ole Olson and sons, Robert and Alan, Unity, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Rottjer, Granton.
