Anna Louise Lee (11/11/1881 to 8/8/1942)

West Fremont--Mrs. Vinton D Lee, 60, died of a heart attack Saturday evening, Aug, 8, at 8:30 o'clock at her home at Pleasant Ridge, Town of Grant. She had been in poor health for several years but was up and around the house until a few hour before her death.

Anna Louise Grade was born No 11, 1881, to Fred and Ida (Fiddler) Grade in the Town of Lynn, the eldest of nine children, five of whom survive. Her marriage to Vinton D Lee took place at Marshfield, May 4, 1910, the Rev. H C Postlethwaite officiating.

After their marriage, Mr. and Mr. Lee lived at Pleasant Ridge Creamery for four years, Mr. Lee being a cheesemaker there, later moving to Oconto Falls, Neillsville, and Withee. In 1919, they returned to Pleasant Ridge. Mrs. Lee was a member of Pleasant Ridge Methodist Church, the Ladies Aid Society, and the Social Club.

Surviving besides her husband are her aged mother, Mrs. Ida Grade, Owen; two brothers, William of Janesville and Louis of Granton; three sisters, Mr. William (Bertha) Erickson, Ea.....(copy cut off) WI, Mrs. Emma Payne, Granton, and Miss Louise Grade, Seattle, WA; and 28 neices and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the Jaster Funeral Home Neillsville, and at 2 o'clock at Neillsville Methodist Church. The Rev. Obed Asp will officiate and burial will be made in Windfall cemetery, Granton.

Six nephews will serve as pall bearers, Wenzel, Marion, and RObert Lee and Lester Lindow, all of West Fremont, and Rayond and Donald Payne, Town of Lynn.
