KARL HERBERT SCHROEDER

Karl Herbert Schroeder, 16, son of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert A. Schroeder, Chili, died at 6:40 o'clock yesterday evening at St. Joseph's Hospital, where he had been taken at 12:30 in the afternoon. Death occurred after a several days' acute illness.

The body will lie in state at the Seehafer-Hansen Funeral Home, where funeral rites will be conducted at 1:30 o'clcok Wednesday afternoon. At 2 o'clock the Rev. Franklin T. Jordan will also officiate at the services at the Zion Evangelical Church. Interment will take place in Hillside Cemetery.

Karl was born in the Town of Marshfield June 3, 1922. He attended the country school near his home until about six years ago, when he was stricken with paralysis.

Surviving besides his parents are his twin sister, Ruth, a student at Marshfield High School; and two other sisters, Mrs. Willis (Bernice) Miller, Marshfield, and Mrs. Ben (Marion) Reich, who resides with her parents in the Town of Fremont. Another sister, Agnes, died in infancy.
