Berg, Arthur O. (Jun 29, 1887-November 14, 1939)

Arthur O. Berg, 52, resident of the Town of Fremont, died suddenly at 11:45 o’clock yesterday morning at his home, the result of a heart attack. He had been in apparent good health up to the time of his death.

Mr. Berg was born June 29, 1887 and was married Nov. 17, 1915, to Miss Harriet Pietenpol of the Town of York. Mr. Berg was a member of the Fremont Town Board the past three years, a health officer, an active worker in 4-H Club, and a member of the Soil Conservation Commission of Fremont.

Surviving are his wife, a son, Robert, a student at the University of Wisconsin, Madison; a daughter, Marise, a student at Granton High School; his aged parents, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Berg; three brothers, Price Berg, Indiana; Vernon Berg, California; and Hugh Berg, Granton; and four sisters, Mrs. Charles (Elva) Fenske, Chili; Mrs. Peter (Lottie) Tauschek, Marshfield; Mrs. Harold (Nettie) Hiles, California; and Mrs. Victor (Pearl) Cole, Granton.

Funeral arrangements have not been made.
