Falk, Augusta (10 JUL 1878 - 16 Jan 1919)

Mrs. Augusta Falk died at her home at Beaver Dam Thursday Jan. 16th after a short illness, death being caused by influenza.

She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Luchterhand, was born on the home farm just North of the village on July 10, 1878. The most of her life was spent in this vicinity.

After her marriage to August Falk they moved to Hartford, Wis., where she lived until her husband’s death five tears ago, when she again became a resident of Loyal. To this union four sons were born, Harold age 15, Arthur 13, Raymond 12 and Armond 6 are left to mourn the loss of a kind and loving mother, besides she leaves her parents, five brothers, Julius, Frank, Edwin, Albert, Ernest and four sisters, Mrs. Minnie McGee, Mrs. Tina Charlau, Mrs. Anna Sufficol and Mrs. Della Lemke.

Gusta as she was familiarly known to everyone here was of a happy disposition with a pleasant word for everyone so that her death will be mourned by a large circle of friends. The funeral services were held at the Lutheran church at Beaver Dam on Sunday afternoon. Interment was in the Beaver Dam cemetery.
