Haas, Lucille (9 FEB 1898 - 1 Feb 1919)

Miss Lucille Haas died at Milwaukee at the Riverside Sanitarium on Feb. 1st after a short illness of pneumonia. Lucille, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Haas of this village was born in Mazomanie, Wis., Feb. 9, 1898 and lived to be nearly twenty one years old. She moved with her parents to Loyal in March 1909, where she has since lived until last April when she went to Milwaukee for treatments.

She is survived by her parents, two brothers Alfred and Raphael and one sister, Bernetta, besides many other relatives and a host of friends. While she has gone from the conflicts, the sorrow and the pleasures of life, she will still live in the hearts of those who knew her best.

The funeral services were held on Wednesday, Feb. 5th at 9 a.m. at the Catholic church. Rev. Joseph Stenz officiating. Burial was in the Catholic Cemetery.

The family have the sympathy of all in their loss.
