Miss Irene Ley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Ley, Chili, and a teacher in the Valley View School, became the bride of Robert Englebritsen in a ceremony performed at Greenwood, Saturday, Jan. 23. Mr. Engelbritsen has been inducted into the Army recently.

Greenwood--Announcement has been made of the marriage of Miss Irene Ley of Chili and Robert Engelbretzen of Greenwood at 8 o'clock Saturday evening, January 23, 1943, at the home of Rev. and Mrs. M.K. Aaberg. The Rev. Mr. Aaberg, pastor of the Trondhjem Lutheran church performed the ceremony. The couple was attended by Miss Beatrice Bostwick of Loyal, who acted as bridesmaid, and Leonard Struck of Spencer, as groomsman. The bride, who teaches school at Chili, was attired in an afternoon dress of steel grey and Miss Bostwick wore a red dress. The groom left for Fort Sheridan, IL, on Monday, Jan. 25, for army service.
