Stauffacher, Harold L. (19 June 1934 - 30 Nov. 1999)

Harold L. Stauffacher, 65, of Beloit, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 30, 1999 in his home. He was born June 19, 1934 in Granton, Wis., the son of Larry and Irene (Vruwink) Stauffacher. Harold graduated in 1952 from Granton High School. He served in the U. S. Army. Harold was employed by Warner Electric Brake and Clutch for 34 years, retiring in July, 1999. He was a member of the Eagles Club and the Moose Club. Harold was an avid bowler and Bears fan, he enjoyed shooting pool and watching NASCAR.

Harold is survived by his children, Connie (Ted) Nguyen of Roscoc, Ill., Harold (Pennie) Stauffacher, Jr. of Rockton, Ill., Linda (Ray) Morse of Poplar Grove, Ill., Sarah (Dan) Hinderliter of Beloit and Ann Marie Valadez, also of Beloit; nine grandchildren: Tony and Emily Nguyen, Ashley and Austin Stauffacher, Kyle and Alice Zumach, Vanessa Valadez, Alajandra and Marco Leon; eight step-grandchildren; the mother of his children Delores O’Brian of Beloit; one brother, Walter (Ruth) Stauffacher of Minn.; one sister: Edna Mae (Grant) Rose of Granton, Wis.; special friend, Diane Murphy of Beloit, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Dec. 4, 1999, at 5 p.m., at Rosman, Uchling, Kinzer Funeral Home, 1125 Cranston Road, Beloit, Wis. Visitation was on Saturday, Dec. 4, 1999 from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. at the funeral home.
