SWEET-SCHAEFER

At the parsonage of Sigel Lutheran church yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock, Miss Adela Augusta SCHAEFER, St. Joseph street, city, became the bride of Gurney E. SWEET, Chili. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Carl HOEH in the presence of immediate relatives.

Miss Margaret HAHM and Gerhard BERGE attended the couple.

A dark wine-colored frock of flat crepe with matching hat was worn by Miss SCHAEFER, who carried a bouquet of white and pink carnations and ferns.

Miss HAHM, as maid of honor wore a figured silk flat crepe. Her bouquet consisted of pink and white carnations and ferns.

About 60 guests greeted the bridal couple at the home of Mrs. Milda HAHM, Granton, where a 6 o'clock supper was served.

A number of out of town guests were present for the occasion. They included Frank SWEET, Sherwood; Gilbert SWEET, Irma WAGNER, Mr. and Mrs. John BOUSHON and family, Christian SCHAEFER and daughter, Viola, and her daughter, Joyce, and John FISCHER, all of Marshfield; Mr. and Mrs. Charles GOLDAMER, Abbotsford; Mr. and Mrs. William STORM, Spencer; and Mr. and Mrs. Gust HOLTZ, Neillsville.

After Nov. 3, Mr. and Mrs. SWEET will be at home to friends on their farm near Chili.
