MILLS-PORTZ

At a ceremony performed Thursday evening, Dec. 28 at 9 o'clock in the parsonage of the Evangelical church at Chili, Miss Melvina PORTZ, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Adolph PORTZ, Chili, became the bride of William Clark MILLS, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. MILLS of Marshfield. The Rev. G.W. ZIMMERMAN officiated at the service.

The bride's gwon was of wine colored silk crepe made ankle length. She wore a bridal wreath. Mrs. Lila SINGSTOCK, as bridesmaid, was dressed in green silk. Roy A. PORTZ served the groom as best man.

After the ceremony an 11 o'clock dinner was served for relatives and immediate friends at the home of the bride's parents. Covers were laid for 14. Out of town guests included: Mr. and Mrs. J.H. MILLS and son, Forest, and daughter, Ada Delora, Miss Delight MILLS, Miss Lola WILSON, Mrs. Lila SINGSTOCK, Clarence KRAUSE, all of Marshfield.

Mr. and Mrs. MILLS will make their home on route No. 1, near Chili.
