BRIDES SATURDAY WED TO BROTHERS Double Ring Ceremony Is Read at Chili Parsonage

Two sisters became the brides of two brothers in a double ceremony performed at the Evangelical parsonage at Chili at 2:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon, when Miss Ilene MEISSNER exchanged vows with Dlemore PETERSON, and Miss Olive MEISSNER exchanged vows with Lawrence PETERSON. The brides are the daughters of M. and Mrs. Charles W. MEISSNER of Granton, and the grooms are the sons of Mr. and Mrs. Peter PETERSON of Chili. The Rev. Philip KOENECKE performed the ceremony, and each couple attended the other as best man and maid of honor.

The brides were attired in identical white satin gowns fashioned with shirred waists buttoned down the back to the hiplines, fitted skirts extending into round trains, tri-V-shaped necklines accented by seed pearl brooches, and long sleeves shirred at the shoulders and extending into points over their hands. Chantilly lace bordered their fingertip veils, which were caught to tiaras of seed pearls, and they carried bouquets of white roses, daisies, and baby chrysanthemums.

Misses Lola and Evelyn PETERSON, sisters of the grooms, wore identical gowns of aqua and American Beauty taffeta, styled with short puffed sleeves, sweetheart necklines trimmed with flowers, and full gathered skirts. Tieras matching their gowns in color, held their circular veils, and they carried identical bouquets....
