Mrs. Anna Gregerson, wife of Matt Gregerson, passed away at her home in the town of Brighton, early Sunday morning, after several days of suffering with diabetes. The deceased has been a resident of this vicinity for many years having resided in the village until a few years ago, when with her husband she moved to the farm in the town of Brighton. She was a woman who devoted all of her time to her home and family and was universally liked and esteemed by a circle of warm friends who extend sympathy to the bereaved family in their affliction. Anna Larison was born in 1839 at Denmark, Sweden. In 1867 she was united in marriage to Matt Gregerson, a few years later they came to this county, eventually settling at Unity. Besides her husband five children are left to mourn her demise; Mrs. Anna Kalk of Wausau, Mrs. Maggie O'Conell of this village, Mrs. Hanna Knundson of Athens, Mrs. Laura Purkis of the town of Unity.and Andrew who resides at home; all of whomwere in attendance at the funeral. The funeral was held from the M. E. church, Wednesday, at 12 o'clock, M.Rev., W. J. James officiating. A large procession of neighbors and friends followed the remains to the cemetery and assisted in performing the last sad rites.
