Lubinski, Frank (8 APR 1851 - 18 Augl 1910)

Frank Lubinski, who has been ill for some time, died at his home in Fairview last Thursday evening shortly after nine o'clock. Mr. Lubinski was born in Prussia, April 8, 1851. He came to this country thirty-five years ago and located in Chicago. Mr. Lubinski remained in Chicago but two years and then came to Fairview, taking up the homestead which has ever since been his home. Thirty-three years ago he was united in marriage at Fairview with Miss Thekla Matysik, and to this union were born twelve children, all of who are living: Antone of River Falls, Mrs. Gertrude Howe of La Crosse, Anna, Frank, Andrew, Thekla, Marcyanna, Agatha, Alexander, Regina, Margaret and Lenora, all of whom are at home with their mother to mourn the death of a loving husband and father. Mr. Lubinski leaves also to mourn his death, three brothers: Peter of Fairview, Isaac of Fairchild, and Antone of Mondovi; and one sister, Mrs. Mary Molzhon of the town of Mentor, Clark County.

Mr. Lubinski was one of the old settlers in the vicinity of Fairview, and is a man who will be sadly missed by his neighbors and friends for whom he always had a good word. The funeral was held Monday morning at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Rev. Tromspeter reading the mass, and the body was laid at rest in the cemetery at the church. The esteem in which the deceased was held was shown by the large number who were present when the last sad rites were said.

Relatives from away who were here to attend the funeral were Miss Aggie Hollinger and Mrs. Josie O'Mier of Minot, N.D., Frank Lubinski of Mauston, and Antone Lubinski of Mondovi.
