Gooder, Lotta M. (27 Apr 1909)

The marriage of Miss Lotta May Gooder, only child of John Gooder, to Mr. John Boullion, was consecrated at St. Joseph's Church, Fairview, Tuesday morning, April 27, 1909, at 9 o'clock. Father Wernerus spoke the words that bound this young couple together to travel life's pathway to the end. Miss Margaret Boullion was the bride's maid and Mr. Henry Boullion acted as best man.

The bride was handsomely attired in a gown of messaline satin with brocade trimming and carried bridal roses. The groom wore conventional black.

No wedding in this vicinity has created more interest than this one. Both parties are widely and favorably known. The bride, the only daughter of John Gooder, is a beautiful and accomplished young woman who is loved by all. The groom has grown to manhood here and has the confidence and respect of all.

A reception was given at the bride's home in the afternoon to the relatives and in the evening the young friends of the couple assemble. Dancing and a good time was indulged in until a late hour, when guests dispersed wishing the bride and groom all the happiness possible. The Anderson orchestra from Fairchild furnished music for the dancers.

The following out of town guests were present: Mrs. Gooder of Eau Claire, Mrs. gust Rail of Augusta, and Henry Boullion of Arcadia. (Fairchild Observer)

Friends in this vicinity (Humbird, Clark County, Wis.) extend their congratulations.
