Halpin, Ten (3 DEC 1901 - 17 Mar 1977)

Loyal, Clark County, Wis. - Ten Halpin, 75, formerly of the Loyal area, died Thursday evening at Baumont Nursing Home at Prairie Du Chien, where he had been residing the past ten years.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Loyal. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. The William L. O'Neill will officiate.

Friends May call at Rinka Funeral Home in Loyal after 2 p.m. Sunday. There will be a prayer service at 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Mr. Halpin was born Dec. 3, 1901, at Alma Center and married the former Regina Benda on Nov. 23, 1926, at Alma Center. She died Dec. 7, 1962.

He farmed in the town of Unity, retiring in 1960.

Survivors include two sons, Dennis, Loyal, and William, Prairie Du Chien; a sister, Mrs. Iren Poulsen, Los Angeles, Calif., and 18 grandchildren.

A son, Donald, preceded him in death in 1957.
