Galanena, James G. (30 Sep 1938 - 28 OCT 1984)

Granton, Clark County, Wis. - James G. Galanena, 46, Route 2, Granton, died at 1:22 a.m. Sunday in the emergency room at Neillsville Memorial Hospital as the result of a heart attack suffered at home.

There will be no visitation. The body is to be cremated. Gesche Funeral Home, Neillsville, is handling arrangements.

He was born Sept. 30, 1938 in Yakima, Wash., and received his education in schools there. After his education, he worked there and in other western states. Later he was employed in Chicago.

In 1977 he moved to Soldier's Grove and operated a farm until 1961. He came to Neillsville 1 1/2 years ago and had been employed at the Neillsville Foundry.

He married Barbara J. Lindroth Nov. 29, 1989 in Chicago. She survives. He was predeceased by his parents.
